Sign up for SnT 2021
Online registration for SnT is accessible through conferences.ctbto.org/e/SnT2021. SnT 2021 will be mostly virtual due to the COVID-19 situation, but the new format aims to bring together even more scientists, technologists, academics, students, and representatives of the CTBTO’s policy-making organs in this new interactive platform and stimulate rich virtual discussions.
SnT 2021 from 28 June to 2 July
The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) relies on innovation to enhance the capabilities of the Treaty’s verification regime as well as to help move the Treaty closer to universalization and entry into force. As the sixth event in the CTBT: Science and Technology conference series, SnT 2021 will bring together over 1000 scientists, technologists, academics, students, and representatives of the CTBTO’s policy-making organs. In addition, representatives from the fields of research and development, science diplomacy, science advisory, media, and advocacy will be present.
It is important that you, the younger generation, actively participate and share your visions for the future of the CTBT verification system.
The opening day of the SnT 2021, on 28 June, will be hosted at the historic Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, with online participation and limited attendance in place. The other days of the conference, 29 June to 2 July, will be virtual, with highlight and invited talks, oral presentations, panels, e-posters, side events, extensive opportunities for discussions in virtual break-out rooms and chats, and more.
