SnT2023 – Registration and abstract submission
The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) relies on innovation to enhance the capabilities of the Treaty’s verification regime as well as to help move the Treaty closer to universalization and entry into force. As the seventh event in the CTBT: Science and Technology conference series, SnT2023 will bring together well over 1000 scientists, technologists, academics, students, and representatives of the CTBTO’s policy making organs. In addition, representatives from the fields of research and development, science diplomacy, science advisory, media and advocacy are invited to attend the conference.
Encouraging YPN participation at SnT2023
The CTBTO is welcoming greater engagement in the SnT conference by the next generation of scientists and encourages active participation by YPN members.
We hope to see YPN members as speakers at the event in June. Please let us know it you would be interested in such a role, and we will coordinate with the PTS. The organisers are also currently looking at the possibility of having events in other UN languages than English, something that might be of interest to some of you.
Previous SnTs have covered travel expenses for those speakers who have applied for this in their registration. While the planning and decision making is not finalized, the PTS hopes to be able to provide some financial support to invited speakers also at SnT2023.
We will keep you posted on SnT2023 developments.
Register and submit your abstract before 30 November 2022
Online registration and abstract submission is accessible through www.ctbto.org/SnT2023 with a submission deadline of 30 November 2022 at 23:59 UTC.
